Support Our School
If you're interested in learning more about how you can support the school, see below. Whether it's an offer to volunteer in your spare time, a donation, or a visit to one of our community events, we'd love your support!
Make a Donation
We have a newly created Just Giving account. If you would like to make a donation, just follow the steps on Just Giving.
The school is currently raising funds for two main projects:
1) Purchase of replacement iPads for use by pupils (current ones are at the end of their life!)
2) Creation of an outdoor learning area within the school grounds
EasyFundraising
Over 7000 brands will donate to us when you shop through the Easyfundraising website/app. You can purchase pretty much anything through Easyfundraising: from your Tesco online groceries and Argos orders to Booking.com holidays and Trainline train tickets. Add the ‘Donation Reminder' to your device and it will automatically log your online purchase with a donation to Hook Infant School.
You can download the Easyfundraising app from the Google Play and Apple app stores, and register on our Easyfundraising page.
Volunteering Opportunities
Parent Volunteers: The school is often in need of parent volunteers to help with reading and other classroom tasks. If you’d like to be considered for such a role, please complete the application form and email it to office@hook-inf.hants.sch.uk. Please note that a DBS check is required.
Hook Schools Community Association and the Hook Infant School Charities Committee
There are two separate groups that support the school through charitable fundraising: The Hook Schools Community Association (HSCA) and the Charities Committee (part of the school's Governing Body).
The HSCA raises funds for both Hook Infant School and Hook Junior School through community events (e.g. the hugely popular summer and Christmas fairs). If you'd like to get involved, you can find more info here.
Their calendar of events can also be found on our school’s calendar
The Charities Committee raises funds for the school mainly through grant applications. The committee's current focus is on raising funding for the replacement iPads and Outdoor Learning projects mentioned above.
Anything Else?
If you’re looking to support the school but the info you’re looking for isn’t on this page, please get in touch with the school directly: just pop into reception and ask us!
