Hook Infant School Bears

The Hook Infant School Bears all say a big hello!

In the Summer term, they spend some time at our biggest pre-schools (Oaklea House, St John's, Hook Village Nursery, Pumpkin Patch, Heather Rabbit and Sunshine Daisy).  The children at these pre-schools can enjoy some time with the bear who has visited them, and also share a story ...

... you can see Malorie Blackman (the author) reading it here ...
At the end of the Summer term, the bears all pop back to Hook Infant School for a short break before they go on their August Adventure!  Over the month of August, you can find them in shop windows in Hook.  You can print off a spotter sheet and see if you can find them all.  Anyone can do this for fun, but if your child is starting Year R in September they can return it to their class teacher so they can receive a special certificate.  You can download the spotter sheet below.

In September, the bears all come back home to Hook Infant School.  They will spend some time visiting the new Year R children in their classrooms before the weather starts to get chilly.  Before it gets too cold, the bears will find somewhere warm and safe to hibernate before coming out again the following summer.
