Our friendship bench has a new sign. It is a place for children to go if they would like to find a friend to play with. Our playground buddies will also monitor this bench to ensure everyone is included in play times should they wish.
Did you know that we have an Emergency Defibrillator at Hook Infant School. In the event of an emergency this can be accessed during school office hours.
I am sure both staff and children are looking forward to this half term break. We hope the days will be longer and warmer when we return to school.
We will be having a busy second half of this spring term including celebrating Pancake Day, World Book Day (don’t forget to wear your pyjamas), Parent Consultations (7th and 9th March) as well as our Easter Craft events where we hope you will enjoy some cutting, sticking and gluing with your child in the week before the Easter holidays.
School reopens on Monday 20th February at 8.30 / 8.35am but in the meantime please enjoy a restful break.

We are very excited to share with you our plans to celebrate World Book Day 2023. Our theme this year will be ‘bedtime stories’ and we invite your children to come to school on Thursday 2nd March in their pyjamas with their favourite bedtime story to share in class. Please ensure the book your child brings in is named to avoid any confusion.
