Clocks go forward on Sunday morning, a sign of longer, lighter and hopefully warmer evenings.
We look forward to seeing a parent / carer at our Easter Craft Events this week from 1.30pm - 2.30pm in your child’s classroom. Please wait at the pedestrian gate by the school reception to attend. Hartlett’s field gate will not be open at this time. Children may leave with parents at the end of this event if they wish.
Year 1 are looking forward to their Superhero dress up day on Monday.
Staff and children will be visiting St Johns Church for a whole school Easter assembly on Friday morning and a reminder that school breaks for Easter at 1.15pm after lunch.
Year R children may come to school in non uniform on Friday 31st March as they celebrate Easter and new life.
A message for Year R from Mrs Rutherford.
Next week Year R are celebrating Easter and learning about new life. On Friday 31st March to end the weeks learning we are having a celebration of new life party. We would like to invite your child to wear party clothes and bring in their Teddy bear to share in the party fun on Friday. The children will be cooking a tasty Easter treat to eat at the party during the week and writing invitations for their Teddy along with making decorations for the party. It's going to be a great fun week!
Thank you to Mr West and the re-wilding team along with Isley, Jake and Kiera who have been digging and planting the Wild Flower border near the Early Years building. We look forward to watching their seedlings and plants grow and bloom.
To Harry, Ben, Daphne, Luke, April, Poppy H, Evelyn B, Max R, James K, Sam, Patrick, Callum and Kamila who were our Celebration Assembly Certificate winners this week.
Year 2 looked amazing in their medieval costumes. The school has been smelling of freshly baked bread all day as the children have been mixing, rolling and proving their own bread rolls. They have also worked in small groups to make their own castles with a drawbridge, turrets and battlements.
